My vote goes to the Tokina 11-16. Well built, superb IQ, fast aperture, can't fault it.

Well, very strong CA, very bad trying to focus with live view contrast detect AF. That is two faults

If you don't care about the f/2.8 then the Canon 10-18mm is prob best overall deal with the price.

I tend to use manual for landscape shots so I can't comment on the live view AF, but CA has hardly ever been a problem. Certainly no more than any other lens I own.

Then you own only unusually strong CA-ing lenses....

To quote:

"The lateral chromatic aberration is a more serious problem, and I do mean serious here. In fact you can describe it with just one word: monstrous."

"So far things looked bright but the lens has also a problem - lateral chromatic aberrations - visible as color shadows at harsh contrast transitions. The characteristic is uniformly high across the range with an average pixel width at 2.1-2.6px at the image borders. A typical flaw found in many Tokina lenses actually."'

"A huge level of chromatic aberration is a nightmare of wide angle Tokinas. The predecessor of the tested lens had big problems in this category as well, so did many other instruments (it’s enough to mention here the 12-24 mm, the 16-50 mm or the 16.5-135 mm lenses). It’s high time the producer did something with that aberration because the rivals deal with it much better."
