I have used the Pentax 645Z mainly for studio photography and must say I was impressed. The detail achieved, together with the 90mm lens, is fabulous. It visibly surpasses the very good results I always got with my Nikon D800E. No noise is visible in the dark areas, even when brightening these areas.

The Pentax 645Z autofocus is fast and very precise including in low light (slightly better than with my D800E. The only negative aspect is that there aren't focusing points far away from the image center.

There isn't yet a wide range of modern lenses, I expect Pentax to release soon a medium tele-photo lens and hopefully some lens with leaf shutter (as synchro flash is limited to 1/125s).
