...and, like all Tokinas, neanderthal flare performance. How one can recommend the Tokina as the top IQ when it suffers from such dramatic flaws is inconceivable.

The flare is way over exaggerated. Just returned from a trip and shot over 3000 photo's. Not one had flare in it... Maybe if you was shooting directly in to the sun at midday sure, but if you plan on using it for sunsets etc then it's not an issue.
