I might be wrong about MFT, I certainly hope so because Olympus will always have a place in my heart: the first camera that I used was an Olympus XA, still in the film days. And for sure Olympus knows how to make cameras great in use and good optics. MFT has definetely its strengths: the mount is open, Panasonic definetely succeeded in establishing MFT as the "APS-C of videography", they have already a selection of lenses and an established user base, the Olympus "open module" initative is worth mentioning too. They might reinvent themselves as the open creative platform, because, well, it will always be easier and cheaper to get creative with smaller lenses than with FF behemoths, whereas on image quality they will always have troubles competing with larger formats. The problem for them right now is that even tough the top of the line is selling well, all those OM-Ds and GH4s, they really lost the entry level to Sony.

Fuji, I don't see them as a major player with an important market share. But they don't even try, and prefer to be seen as the baby Leica. As far as I know they made profit last year on their X cameras and lenses, so I do not see why their mount would have to disapear. They found a niche in the street, rangefinder style photography, and as long as they stay in it I do not see someone beeing able to compete with them.
