OP I experienced the same frustration as you did when I got my EPM2. I read Robing Wongs blog and thought that my new camera has the magic power to take automatically take amazing pictures. I had previous experience with the several P&S cameras including the Canon SX50HS. The Canon gave me some amazing pictures and I still believe it is agreat camera and I should have kept it. But it was too slow for my liking and heavyish. It has taken me over a year to come to realize what my EPM2 can do and to be happy with it. I am not saying the EPM2 is right for you, maybe it is not, but it takes time to learn how to use advanced interchangeable lens cameras. I still look at my pictures and think, this is it, sucks, but then novices and family people who don't understand tech look at my pictures and are blown away. Realize that for most people the pictures you take with the EPM2 will be amazing. So what I am saying is, give your self some time to learn how to use this advanced camera, and do not buy a new lens until you are sure of what you want and need. I have the 17MM f1.8 becuase that was the only standard prime at the time, if I had waited for a few months I could have gotten the 25MM f1.8 which is a focal length I prefer. But it is too late for me, and my 17 is very sharp so I am not getting rid of it.

I have bought and sold several lenses, all of them I was mistakenly unhappy with, the 45 f1.8 the 40-150 the 19mm f2.8 sigma.

I wish I still had the 45MM.
