Almost everything in your post is incorrect.

In your own words "please tell me where."

You really don't understand even the basics of how the technologies in these cameras work.

LOL, I beg to differ (again).  Please check my posting history (or my galleries) if you still have doubts.

I can see I'm wasting my time here.

If you haven't picked anything up from the rest of us, then admittedly you're right.

Everything I've been saying is backed up by Canon, DXOMark and DPReview. Sadly, it does appear that logic and reason go out the window obviously when you think someone is criticizing your baby.

Holy cow you've got it completely Bass Ackwards Mike.  You've been spending the entire time here arguing how (your choice of) the SL1 is the equal of every other crop camera in Canon's stable.  Reread your own posts if you doubt it.

But there are in fact some significant differences (esp depending on what you shoot).  And many aren't obvious from the specs alone (or even from the reviews).

Fortunately however, we have immediate access to an absolute wealth of great advice from fellow members who've actually put these cameras through their paces already (many tens of thousands of shots worth in my case).    I even back that up by posting (very large) samples in my galleries for folks to examine.

Now I realize that the old adage applies: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.  So I don't expect you to even give any other camera (than your current choice) any consideration.  Just don't be surprised when you find yourself in over your head the next time too.
