Well a month with my SL1 my feelings.

Hey folks;

After a full month with my new SL! and four lenses, I'm loving it! so light and just right for me. I picked up my D200 and 70 300 VR to go to the zoo last evening and it felt like a "concrete block" I'm spoiled.

Now my own un professional assessment? I'd like a few more buttons to make changes, I'm still sorting out the menu system, I'm more used to cameras with more exposed buttons for quick changes, I'm assuming Canon's upper end bodes also have more buttons, but I'll survive.

My lens selection, 18 55, 40 pancake 55 250 and new 10 18, all doing all I could ask, very satisfied, now what lens has really been my most used?? the 18 55, I find I like it more and more, I'm amazed at just how versatile it is, I always held that zoom length in contempt! oh, how wrong one can be.

The verdict after one month? " I won't give up my little Canon without my cold dead fingers wrapped around it" its fun, its light it shoots fun and excellent photos, so on a 1 to 10 basis, its a solid 12 in my book, so much fun to walk around and "snap" fun photos again, I don't have to act like I know a lot about photography,.

I hope more fat old guys find out just how much fun this little guy is, you too gals.
