Sigma's photo would have same composition, dog expression and light. If you would never see photo done with 80-200, would you know with which lens it was taken? And would it matter really? Will disturb you because it wasn't taken with the most "appropriate" lens and because other stuff (transitions, ...) will be a slightly bit different?

If the goal of photography is making 3 or more exactly the same photos with different lens and comparing them to find minute differences, than I'm from different world. As others said: it's photographer's mind that makes great photos.
