Unfortunately, that is a big complaint with NX210 or NX20 and earlier cameras, very slow RAW processing, with software that locks you out of changing controls while it is processing the buffer. The NX300 is better, but has a small buffer, and the NX30 is much better since it has a larger buffer.

If you shoot back to back RAW files, try not to review the image right away Also, some continuous shooting modes will make it lock up like that as well.

Finally, reviewing images before they are done being written can cause the camera to crash and require a restart by pulling the battery. No idea why this happens, but it isn't too common, worst when reviewing images while they are being written.

About the best to expect from NX20 is 1.5 seconds per RAW file with a good memory card (the Sandisk Extreme cards were fastest for me, make sure to get a genuine card and not a counterfeit, i.e., buy retail from trusted store).
