How many people ever change their white balance?

My G6 is never set the same from one shot to another with setting changes happening frequently but I never move out of AWB. It has never let me down and the slightest manipulation in ACR always shows that the camera invariable chose exactly the right WB. Is this other people’s experience or are you constantly switching?

I did use the flash WB for some close up macros the other day and the results were different but I wouldn’t equate that with better

Particularly relevant in the RAW /jpeg arguments as wrong WB is often quoted as a primary reason for RAW but my camera just doesn’t seem to want to play and produce the wrong WB.
