Is shooting RAW worth the efforts?
2

I am using E-M1 and, comparing to my Canon DSLR (now sold), JPGs are so good, that I am not sure if shooting RAW will result in improvement worth the efforts.

I am aware that JPGs are limited to 8 bit/channel, but the dynamic range of E-M1 sensor is amazing. I can restore shadows and highlights in my JPGs without much noise, with well-preserved details.

So, if you are shooting with a late Olympus camera, do you see significant improvements from RAWs?

Thanks!

Olympus E-M1
