dD5300 v d40-shadows
I recently switched from a d40 to a d5300 and am generally happy with the results. However, I have noticed that I am spending a lot more time in post lightening up shadows than I used to spend with the d40. Is this to be expected, maybe as a result of the improved sensor or with the increase in megapixels, and is there an adustment I can make in a menu setting to reduce this effect?
