Can't decide: Canary in the Coal Mine

I'm having a hard time deciding which of these two photos I like more.

The other day I had a shoot at the old coal mine with a live canary and a man who actually used to work underground there. We stopped in two spots on the grounds for a photo in each; one in the tipple and one at the entrance to the mine itself. Now I'm having a hell of a time deciding which one I want to go ahead and print for sale in their gift shop and around town.

I like the sombreness, the still-life-i-ness of this one, and the fact that it was actually taken at the entrance to the mine

Whichever one I decide on in the end is going to be printed at poster size, so the fact that this more dynamic shot was taken at ISO 800...that has to be taken into account.

Welcoming your two cents here, any new perspectives will definitely be taken into account.

Thanks in advance, eh.
