Changing Priorities; Is M 4/3 start "Loosing it" ?

First days of M 4/3 by PEN series Olympus has started to provide

" Smilar sensor* by smaller camera "

Smaller cameras allows producers "Smaller & sharper lenses." Which are easier to fit any camera bag. Even jeans pockets ( there are pancakes.)

Then the time passing by, many of the consumers realized that

" Smilar sensor* smaller cameras are also more affordable. "

Those cams get even cheaper by the time, and time passes fast for technological innovations on their side (Since 2009 not so many specs changed over Canon 550D or Nikon 5100. Etc.)

But here we are in 2014.. And what we have is roughly smilar sized cameras to enthusiast DSLR and very similar price points.

Smilar prices; for example a Pentax K-3 special edition is exact same "body only" price then OMD E-M1. They are similar sized and however I have not touched both cameras Pentax is MORE CAMERA ( OVF). Smilar case between Nikon 7100 and GH-4.

Surely not every lens, but sharp ones (around F 0.95 - 2.0) are very closely priced.

(However technological advances on M43 side & in videography they becomes more main stream) I am asking; where are the previous benefits of M43 cameras ?

Thanks to share ideas.

(*) Smilar Sensor compare to older 4/3 DSLR's
