Rhododendron leafhopper with K5 and FA 50 2.8 macro

Dear all,

a couple of days ago I opend a thread with a few insects in my garden. I did the photos with natural light, my Tamron 180 mm on a bellows and f=8.0.

The pictures were missing some sharpness - and so I tried it again - this time with my sharpest tools: The Fa 50 mm 2.8 at apertures around f=20 - and my Sigma ring flash. I did RAWs which were transferred to JPG using DxO8 - and all are 100% crops from the original photo.

Hope you like them! But, agian - any comments are welcome. I still have to learn a lot and I am glad we have so many experts here in the forum.

Best regards
