Enable the lens profiles in Lightroom and save the settings as your default. Takes 10 seconds, just once. Every time you open an image made with a supported combination of lens and body (it's a huge list) the distortion will be automatically corrected.

This is a good tip, I did not know that time. Now am using LightRoom more and will do that once I get a wide angle. I like 14-24 better than 16-35 but its the stupid filter thing - I do not like the bulk and the cost north of $500 for filters not justified in my mind. Thinking about a prime.
