Moose hunting with an SX50

So I went looking for moose on Sunday here is some of what I saw.

While I waited for the moose to show I snapped this photo of the sunrise burning off the frost from the wetlands around the lake.

Not long after the sun came up I spotted a cow moose come out of the forest and take a morning drink in the lake.

This big bull was following the cow.

They slowly browsed their way back into the forest I followed at a respectable distance.

A silhouette of the bull moving through the forest shadows. I was tracking his movement with the camera so the trees are a bit burly.

Stopping for a bite to eat.

I found this other cow (note the damaged ear) on my way back to the lake.

It was still pretty early so I decided to hike up to a small pond higher up the mountain. I ran across this curious doe on the way up.

I didn't find any moose but the view was nice.

A forested slope on the way down.

The willows are changing, fall is on the way.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
