Choosing flash by lens mm . .
After a little browsing and comparisons.. Third-party flashes seem to trump speedlites and speedlights..
I find photographers choose thrid party flashes over the flashes made by a cameras manufacturer..
such as quantums, metz and nissins ..
*photorapher I recently met had a quantum.."
I also spotted something that interested me:
sb-700 doesn't seem to match up with a 18-140mm lens according to the nikon site...
to be more specific , it doesn't match up with "lens not within" the 14-120mm area (according to the nikon speedlight site specifications..
comparing sb-700 and 910 i found the note under "lens coverage" in specifications area for the product
What does lens coverage mean?
Is light fall-off to be expected when going over 120mm , or something?
what is your preference ? for or against camera manufacturer flashes? or does it matter?
