Battery life of X-E1 in cold temperatures ???

i live in Canada and i like to photograph our winter and i've been doing it for many, many years now (26 years) with my 35mm SLR and DSLR. DSLR don't need as much power in cold temperatures as MLC unless you always use LV on the DSLR. I've owned 2 MLC before my X-E1.... Pentax K-01 and Sony NEX-3. The Pentax had quite good batteries but the Sony battery dropped very quickly but both didn't had an EVF.

BTW for me cold temperatures in which i shoot in winter varies from -10C down to -25C in general.

So my questions:

- How is the battery life of X-E1 in cold temperatures ?

- Since it's my first camera with an EVF, does using only EVF will be less demanding on the batteries ?

I already have 3 batteries for my X-E1, so might buy a couple more if the batteries drop too quickly in the cold.

Thanks for any help.
