beginner: working with Shutter Speed/ISO/Aperture

Hello, everybody!

My name is Daniel and I've recently bought my first DSLR. I've been studying photography by using my camera, reading articles and watching tutorial videos on the internet.

I got really excited yesterday because I bought my first tripod (yay!) and I decided to have an adventure with the Shutter Speed. However, once I'm still learning the basic things, I would like you to tell me, if it's possible, what I could've done to make it better and, (I'd really appreciate this) if you could give me some suggestions or maybe recommend some exercises.

These are the settings I used:

Shutter Speed: 10"

ISO: 100

Aperture: f5.6

Zoom: 50 mm (I have a 18-55mm lens)

And this is the picture:

Thank you VERY much!

Have a great day!
