Its that time of year

when flowers decide that its time to grow. Perhaps a combination of right temperature, pressure and moisture. Maybe also some symbiotic relationship with bees.

Dozens of the flowers below literally sprung up this morning at the same time. They werent around yesterday.

Edit: these were shot with the Raynox 150

I was trying to shoot this Cape Dandelion when this bee rudely interrupted If shooting macro at f/8, it would have included the bee.

This elegant Onion Grass flower is 2cm across.
