Question: Canon 5DMKIII and a shutter slow down or lag intermittent
Has anyone seen a few frame slowing down audible differences when shooting at either manual or Ap?
I have tried different batteries, all Canon, all fully charged. I have set it to CF, a Sandisk Extreme Pro, yet it does this with a SD supposedly 90m/s. It is set to auto switch, and is writing cr.2's.
It does this with any lens, yet is usually with the 24-105L mounted. It does it when shooting in a normal position as well as overhead on a ladder shooting down.
The AF mode is Servo or one shot. The subject is not really moving much, models, and it is always when shooting multiple similar frames, so the AF shouldn't be hunting.
This is my third MKIII, the others didn't do this, nor did any other Canon I have.
I'd send it in as it is under warranty, yet I don't want them sending it back saying they could not find anything wrong with it. There are no errors, hence no log to look at.
I don't know if the shutter is actually dragging as I have not really marked on which frame sequences it happens.
Could it be the shutter?
