Ok - I have handled the FZ1000

I was actually in store for binoculars, but the guys there kindly unboxed the FZ1000 in store.

Headlines from a few seconds handling:

  • Just perfect in the hands - oh my goodness. 
  • beautiful EVF
  • Did I mention the handling - oh my goodness.
  • The barrel zoom is lovely, really smooth and 25-400mm in a 90 degree turn. Stunning.

And that was it. So brief yet so telling. My thanks to the guys at London Camera Exchange, Southampton.

The FZ50: DSLR handling of a bright, non-extending Leica 35-420mm F2.8-3.7 lens. Thank you Mr Ichiro Kitao, Mr Michiharu Uematsu and Mr Yoshiyuki Inoue for having triggered the update to the FZ50.
