E-M10 How to Disable Touchscreen Shutter
Hi guys, I just received my new E-M10 and I'm learning my way around it. Already read DPR's E-M5 starter guide which was immensely helpful. However, I was just wondering if there's a way to make it so that pressing a point on the touchscreen only sets the AF point without triggering the shutter?
By the way, I'm still very new to photography so I just want to ask, what are some ways to utilise the 81 point AF? Because as far as I can see, I can just half-press the shutter button to acquire my focus and then compose the scene. To get the exposure I want, I can either use AEL or manually adjust exposure. Is there any reason to use the touchscreen AF that can't be accomplished with half-pressing the shutter? Thanks a lot in advance!
