My first impressions with the 18-135mm with samples OOC JPEGs

1/- Built : excellent with the aperture ring much more consistent than with the other zooms, appreciated! The zoom is not bulky rather light and very handy

2/- The OIS is amazing below is one of my naive haitian paintings 1/5 sec at 135mm..

The flare resistance is also very good


the 135mm  is quite good as well for close up :

The 18mm has a slight tendency to overexpose (yes, only green in the picture ...)

The sharpness for foliage is good same for roof and slates at infinity:

The first impressions are very good even if sharpness and contrast are not stellar it is still the best 18-135mm I ever had and the relative compactness of the XT1 18-135mm combo is compelling

On the dark side, 100$ too expensive...
