Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply. I migrated our discussion into a separate thread to focus only on this subject.

I am Speed Booster fan, I definitely buy one for my forthcoming m43 camera.
I'm a fan of cheap lens adaptors. That way I can buy a dedicated adaptor for each lens. I tried swapping lenses AND adaptors and it was a nightmare. It's way simpler with one adaptor per lens.
Exactly this is what I did until I bought my expensive FD Speed Booster: since then I used only lenses compatible with that adapter: Canon FD (of course), Nikon AI, Leica R, m42 (these via inexpensive spacer rings (AI-FD, R-FD, m42-FD). The Speed Booster lens can be calibrated in a way that even the distance scale on the mechanical lenses can be used quite efficiently for zone/hyperfocal focusing.
- Can you open the magnification view while recording video by tapping onto the touch screen?
I've never tried it, but I can't see why it's not possible.
That would be awesome. Unfortunately, my X-A1 has not focus peaking nor magnification during video recording.
The GX7 IBIS works with any lens that lacks stabilization, including manual and adapted manual lenses. (Sorry, but I have a real issue with lenses being called "legacy". They still work.)
As far as I remember the GX7 has 3-axis IBIS. Did you find any difference between a stabilized and non-stabilized shot in your practice?
Does it GX7 stabilization work during video recording? I think it did not work with the initial firmware, but Panasonic may have released a newer firmware to give better support videographers of Voigtlander lenses.
A fun exchange! Thank you!
