As with every thing else, it depends

If you have the Olympus 12mm f2.0, plus a 60mm, and don't want any zooms, would you add the Olympus 17mm f1.8 to your kit or would you move further up the line to one of the other primes between 19mm and 45mm?

Digital film is cheap; shoot fast and shoot often!!!

I have the 12, PL25, and 45, and that's a good prime kit for me.   Actually, the 12 and 25 would by far get the most work as a walk around kit.

I would think you'd need a good normal FL, and for most that would be the 17 or the 25, or maybe both.   They are different lenses.

I like the 25 for people/street pics, it seems to be more true to life to my eye.   Many prefer the FOV of the 17mm for people and street.   The 25 is pretty tight while 17 will give you more of the environment.  The 12mm is very good for landscape and archetectural, but no so much for people.   Unless you have them dead center in the frame, people are going to be distorted at 12mm.
