How do i find my own style as a photographer?

Maybe the million dollar question, maybe a pointless quistion. However, I would like a discussion on this.

When watching picture reviews on youtube on perhaps Kelbyone the feedback is often that the pictures is all over the place. And i really get that. While watching I often see myself saying that before the guys that's reviewing.

And watching my own flickr-feed with pictures - there is really nothing that can be described as my style of taking pictures or editing pictures. I just take pictures and if i find something worth saving i make a edit and put it on my flickr.

Watching other flickr feeds, I really like people that have some kind of style or some kind of theme that pulls everything together. If there isnt, I dont think its as interesting.

This question should probably be seperated with the following:

Shooting: Somewhat same objects - or maybe not?
Editing: Somewhat same mood - or maybe not?

So the question is - How do i develop my own style of shooting and editing?

(and sorry for my mediocre english)
