I owned and used the E-510 and EPL2 for a time.  Both were very sensitive to highlights and almost always underexposed as compensation.  Lightening the shadows during PP revealed horrible noise at ISOs as low ISO 200. Images at ISO 400 and up were practically unusable.

When used within their very narrow dynamic range, the images could be superb, especially from the E-510 ... one of my favorite cameras.  But neither of these cameras were anywhere near as capable as the E-P5 in handling the more complex or challenging situations.
