A55 w/70-400mm G, Butterfly (A Butterfly Can Be Hard To Catch)

I was sitting in my room and saw a Butterfly in the flowers so I crabbed my A55 and mounted the 70-400mm G and went out to see if the A55 would be any good for Butterfly-In-Flight. Well I didn't catch any in flight but had to be pretty quick to focus and catch it between flights and on the flowers. Actually I could have lowered my shutter speed and raised the aperture for grater DOF but my intent was to capture the Butterfly in flight which would have required a higher shutter speed.

I was able to get a few shots off before the Butterfly flew away. It seems like I can have fun with my A55 to capture a Butter Fly. I wish the Butterfly's tail had not been broken off.

Images were handheld, RAW and post processed in PS CS6:
