# FOV of speedbooster when using DX lens on m4/3?

FOV of speedbooster when using DX lens on m4/3?

I need some help to calculate fov of a DX lens mounted via a metabones speedbooster on a m4/3 body such as em5 or gh2. Now I am aware of the calculation when mounting a fulll frame lens with speedbooster on a m4/3 body

say for example if the lens is 50mm then fov = 50mm x 0.71 = 35.5mm

35.5mm lens mounted on m4/3 body fov is 2x so 35.5mm x 2 = 71mm, that is the fov will be similar to that a 71 mm lens

now when using a DX lens are the calculations the same

say a 35mm f1.8 Nikon DX lens mounted with speedbooster = 35 x 0 .71 = 24.85mm

its over here I have a doubt (as it is a dx lens). after we arrive at the focal length (in this case 24.85) should it be multiplied into 2 (fov of m4/3) or 1.5 (fov of apc).  in other words will the fov be 49.7 or 37.75
