perhaps a couple good links
The first link may not be as big of a deal here as it would for the higher MP sensor forums, but may still apply to you, depending on how many photos you take, how much processing you do with them and where they end up going. The following link, https://fstoppers.com/business/optimizing-photos-maximum-quality-and-minimum-size-29328 goes to an article that describes a product called jpegmini and what it does for you. If you have more interest in the product, there is a link to the product's site where you can buy a standard version for $20 or pro version for $150.
The second link, https://fstoppers.com/bts/unforgettable-giant-ring-light-and-how-you-can-make-your-own-29462 is another page that describes how you can make your own ring light. It doesn't seem like it's a difficult DIY project and the photos that can be made with such a light are really nice. IMO, it's well worth the effort if you do a lot of flash photography.
When is it "Okay" to be mean, petty or unethical?
