16-50 as a cheap WA (wider than 18) option?
1

Hi there,

I currently have 18-55+50-230 but I'd often like to go a little wider than 18 and I guess I could be ok with a 24mm equivalent lens, as in my Panasonic lx3 - considering that I don't want to spend for the spectacular 14 right now - but the difference between 24 and 27mm equivalent is very noticeable anyway.

I just saw a new, separated from a kit, 16-50 x lens for almost 1/2 price compared to new and I was wandering if it would be worth as an option, compared to some other MF option (Rokinon or 3rd party with converter). I'm not really interested in fisheye at the moment, just looking for a rectilinear WA lens

thanks for your opinionĀ
