Don´t understand your question exactly. When I finish my shooting with very specific setup, I set my camera back to "all auto" including auto ISO before I switch it off, because next time I pick it and switch it on for shooting, I am assured that I´ll get best possible output from random auto setting in case I forgot to do right setup for my scene. It´s pretty logical, natural and fool proof strategy. Nothing special about it, nothing technical to question it even further. Once I´m conscious enaugh, I can bring it back from auto mode to custom settings for my scene, but I always get back to auto when I finish...
