OMG, don't be so lazy, dial in some exposure compensation, that's what it's for - no auto exposure system is perfect. I notice that in the overexposed skies the foreground takes up a huge part of the photograph that the (any) metering system will shoot as medium grey so of course the clouds/sky will be blown out. Also experiment with different exposure modes to see what is best for your subject.
