Nikon 70-210mm F4-5.6 Lens Question
I have an old 70-210mm f4-5.6 lens that has a switch towards the back end of the lens. This appears to lock the lens at 32 but pressing it allows you to rotate from 32 to various stops up to 4. Is locking at 32 all it does and if so, why ? I have no manual for it and haven't used it since about 1990. At a loss for the switch purpose. Still takes a decent shot though. Any help is appreciated!
