One first addition should probably be the Oly 12-40 2.8. With its relativity fast aperture, I believe it can be one of my most used lens. The only drawback I see is its size. Is it too big and heavy?

It is heavier and bigger than the Panasonic 12-35, but worth it. The extra weight improves stability.

Would it be terribly unbalanced with an em-5, without grip (which a don't intend to buy anyway)?

I just bought a HLD-6 grip for my one year old EM-5, and I must say that the ergonomics have improved a lot. I am enjoying my camera even more after getting the grip. The HLD-6 is diferent from the other grips in that the shutter release has been moved to a more comfortable position and it makes it easier to handle the camera with the 12-40 or the 75-300 when fully extended.
