The first thing you notice with the Otus is even your best lenses are missing a lot. Black is black, white is white, all other lenses provide slightly greyed shades of either. Tiny tree limbs against the sky are devoid of CA and not near black, but actually brown and right into the deep corners. Street scene night images with bright lights and deep shade, the edges are amazingly clean.

The 270 degree rotation of the focus ring is smooth and very precise even close to infinity. It is big and heavy but build is as good as it gets. All I wish for now is a >30 MP Canon body.
