Tiny camera mites.

Has anyone had a problem with mites i know i mentioned this about four years ago on DPR forum.
The problem is tiny insects looks like tiny mites just visible to the naked eye, there are one or two crawling on my LCD screen on my DSLR, i know i have had these a few years ago, at the time i was living in a damp house with mold.

I have been where i have been for two years, and yes there is damp in this old house i live in.
I leave my bag i a plastic box container which i spray with insect/fly spray, it has done the trick to a certain extent but one or two remain.
Any ideas, practical ones, i have ordered some tea tree oil as i know mites hate that, but how i will think off a way to apply it without damage to my camera is another matter.
Has anyone else had these tiny minute creatures, i also have seen them on my computer screen to. HELP

In appearance they look whitish but so small its hard to tell, as they are just visible to the naked eye.
