That leads to less of the 'hunting' that can be an issue with contrast detect AF systems.

the camera (is) able to keep subjects in-focus as they move toward the camera. (However), it works best when using AF-C or AF-F focus modes".

Wonder when the  'Depth from Defocus'  technology will find its way into a m4/3 camera (That would leave the E-M1 to the users of legacy phase detection lenses)
