For $300...can't go wrong

I decided to give the inexpensive Rokinon 85mm F1.4 for MFT lens a shot.  I love manual lenses, already owning 17.5 and 42.5 Voigtlanders, so this longer FL complements the set.  I don't really know exactly when I will be putting it to use since it is a long reach, but I will find some uses!

I snapped a few photos in my garden and one of some toys, all wide open, to see how this lens fares at it's softest.  These will also give a good sense of DOF and bokeh for anyone interested.

I found focusing pretty straightforward with the help of focus-peaking.  Hardest part is finding the subject in the viewfinder - this will take some practice.  Wide open, DOF is somewhere around 6" based on focus peaking.  Stopping down obviously helps if greater DOF is needed.

These are all SOC jpegs, Panasonic GH4, shutter speeds in the 1/5000-8000 range outdoors - some may be a bit underexposed.
