Low iso dynamic range against Nikon DF based on DXO stats
I was just curious how the Pentax's dynamic range compared against the Nikon DF.
Anyway, the K5, K5II's are still a market leader. Greater than EV14 at iso 80 beats out the Nikon DF of EV13 at iso 74.
Interestingly the poorer performing K3 at 13.5EV at iso 100 is still better than a Nikon DF (EV13). People were complaining about the K3 but it still fares well at low iso beating the full frame DF.
I know some people only care about high iso but for landscape shooters, iso 100 or lower is always best if possible.
Anyway, I thought I'd comment given how quite a few people are forever tempted by full frame.
