6D PC sync though hotshoe for flash
I have a Norman P2000D that uses a HH plug to sync., I was intending on buying a hotshoe with PC to trigger it since the 6D does not have a PC port. I've heard a few things, but mostly to stay away from anything over 12V for flash units connected on the hotshoe. I was wondering if that was true though the hotshoe for the 6D for sync purposes. I was worried when I heard someone said the Norman pushes out around 50V. Not looking for an unpleasant experience when I decide to hook the two together.
