Across the West with the RX10

Just got back from a road trip with my son that stretched from Eugene, Oregon to Dallas, Texas. Took my RX 10 to try and start to learn it. After a few days I started to understand this little black box. And it has all kinds of power...very deceptive. I still think I like my Fuji XE-2 better, but for a single lens camera, with the scope, the depth and the refinement that the RX 10 showed me, I can't complain. My son's car lost its air conditioning as we entered the heat of Death Valley. Now that, I can complain about.

Baseball in SF.  Too bad the giants lost.

First view of Lake Tahoe.

Better view of Lake Tahoe.

First light at Hoover Dam. We were the first car in that morning. The guard said, "Gonna be a good day for the ole A/C, huh?" We just smiled.

The Hoover Dam bathed in morning gold.

New Mexico's painted mountains.

Evening settles on the west.

“Let there be light.” It all began right there.
There are three kinds of people: those that are good at math and those that are not.
