My IXUS has died, can I do something or what replacement is best ?

Two questions.

Is there a way to get life back to my IXUS 220 HS (ELPH 320 HS), I dropped it and now when I turn it on and the lenses expand, it shut off and keeps the lenses expanded.

Nothing I can do to take pictures with it, It can view pictures on the SD card.

Is there a way to do a reset the camera and get it back "online" ?

If I need to replace my IXUS, which one is recommendable in the same size and pricerange ?
I missed the ELPH 110 HS deal on the Canon website. Which would have been a cheap 1-1 upgrade.

But instead I am looking at something like the ELPH 150 HS or ELPH 340 HS ?

Ofcourse I would like a camera that is pocket size, fast enough to capture kids and good in low light (also with kids running around).

Any experience with the above and recommendations ?

Recommendations towards other cameras are also welcome.
