short review Tamron AF 28-75mm on a Canon 5D

I own this lens 3 years now used with my Canon 5D.

The good points of this lens are its low price, low weight and compact size.

AF speed is not USM like but not terrible either.

It is a f/2.8 lens but wide open the lens is soft. At f/4 it sharpens up but stop down to f/5.0 - f/5.6 for maximum sharpness.

Bokeh and flare resistance is ok for a zoom.

This Tamron lens has a yellow cast over the pics you take.

For rought half the photos I made with it I wanted to correct colors in post.

Since my primary lens is the Zeiss 35mm f/2 I know how different colors can be

If you own a fullframe camera and want a general zoomlens and are on a budget: This is the lens to buy!

Always check for decentered elements when you buy this lens, and be sure to get a good copy.
