Of course it is.. I should have been specific as to what kind of shooting where sharpness is not an issue. If you look at the hundreds of websites with comments on the EM series, you'll see that virtually all the best photographs are taken only with prime lenses. I've rarely seen one with a zoom (with the exception of the 12-40 2.8). Those 40-150 zoomers are for the lazy photographers like me who don't want to use our legs to get the shot or take the time to change lenses.

I was in China once and i was running around with a tour.. We were rushing to the bus and i had like 30 seconds to take one particular shot. I would have missed it if i had to change lenses. The pic ended up on the cover of a book so my zoom was certainly put to good use in that situation.
