Journey to the Centre of the Earth

Did an overnight trip to our Jenolan Caves in the Blue Mountains National Park.

Packed 3 cameras, LX7, GX7 and D800. Interesting results, in the caves, the LX7 was the clear choice with amazing results.

6 image stitched pano

A natural limestone arch

Known as the Grand Arch, the entrance to the Caves system

Fill pop up flash for the foreground

Wide open at f1.4 and hand held at 1/8 sec, something you couldn't do with the D800

Lit only by the small led lanterns carried by the walkers

I gave the LX7 to the Guide for this Group Selfie, the pop up flash did an amazing job at over 30m( I am next to my girlfriend right of camera.)

One of the 3 rivers feeding the Caves System

Blue Lake - 6 image stitched pano

Always trying to push the parameters in panos - this is an 8 image stitch.
