Q Looses the 3-D of the M?

Widely agree with what you are saying jennyrae.  If he doesn't have a Sigma to his name, he is just here to smash windows.  If he does have a Sigma camera, I would deeply question his eyesight.

To add; folks getting these images after the pictures have been castrated by the web, will not see the full 3D Monte we are experiencing on our computers/prints everyday.  If all someone has to go on about the qualities of a M or Q cameras are the truncated shots from the web, they will be disappointed.  The 3D effect is ephemeral and can collapse easily from over-processing. Even when i go from X3F to JPEG, I loose some of the effect. Using flash can flatten the effect for obvious reasons.

Don't know about you, but when there are shootouts on-line between the M and the 800/e, I can see right away which is the Sigma file.
