Nikon 24-120 F4 (VR)
Background: 58 years old, lifetime photographer and darkroom nut. Gave up film about 12 years ago and have been using the Nikon D300 with primes and the so so 16-85 lens.
Got the D810 and the 24-120 as an easy event lens but I still plan on using primes. I'm weak on the wide angle side (primes) as my 28 is damaged (antique). Strong on mid and tele primes and one zoom (70-200 f 2.8)
I should know this but I don't:
How can the 24-120, shot at 24 with an aperture of F4 get an adequate DOF for the typical -everything is in focus- shot expected of wide angles?
Thanks for your patience.
